Saray is an accomplished researcher and art historian, with diverse experience not only in art history but also in conservation, artist/collector liaison, gallery management, exhibition and art fair organisation.
With a BA in Art history, formation on conservation and an MA in Art Market Appraisal, Saray joined a Mayfair based Family Office art advisory for private collectors in 2017 as an intern, securing a full time position shortly after. Saray eventually took on the role of Head of Provenance research in the firm and immersed herself into many aspects of the art market.
Since then, Saray has also managed commercial galleries liaised with art logistics and curated exhibitions for different spaces in London developing her collection management and registrar skills.
With an active interest in multiple creative disciplines, particularly in provenance research and collection management, Saray has developed a strong sense of critical thinking regarding object quality, its history and its condition. She has a discerning appreciation for the art world, the investigative and collection care aspects being her most loved.
Saray is currently doing a PhD in art history and musicology researching and focusing on 'The aesthetics of death during the 19th century in United Kingdom'.
